JONATHAN CLUB

ALICIA & ISAIAH

JONATHAN CLUB | LOS ANGELES

Alicia and Isaiah’s wedding was a heartfelt celebration of love, faith, and enduring commitment—a union of two beautiful souls who had waited patiently for this moment. Their love story, marked by strength and devotion through long-distance as Isaiah proudly serves in the Army, came full circle in a day filled with meaning and emotion.

The ceremony took place at Saint Anne Melkite Greek Catholic Cathedral, a deeply significant and sentimental space for Alicia and her family. Having been part of the church community for over two decades—and with Alicia’s sister also having been married there—it was the perfect setting to begin this next chapter. The Christmas tree, still standing in the sanctuary, added a warm and festive touch that reflected the season and subtly complemented the couple’s color palette of ivory, deep burgundy, and gold accents—a timeless and elegant choice that felt just right for their holiday wedding.

One of the most touching moments of the day was Alicia’s first look with her father, a quiet and emotional exchange that beautifully captured their bond. Isaiah, in keeping with tradition, saw Alicia for the first time as she walked down the aisle—an unforgettable moment filled with emotion and reverence.

After the ceremony, the celebration transitioned seamlessly to the Jonathan Club in Los Angeles. where timeless architecture and classic elegance provided the ideal backdrop for the reception. Every detail, from the florals to the candlelit ambiance, reflected the couple’s warmth and sophisticated style. Burgundy blooms, golden accents, and soft ivory tones carried the palette through the space, creating a cohesive and refined atmosphere.

As the evening unfolded, heartfelt toasts honored the couple’s journey and the resilience that brought them here. The celebration also paid homage to Isaiah’s Saudi Arabian heritage, with traditional dessert sweets passed out to guests after dinner, a gesture rich in cultural meaning and hospitality. Later, friends and family joined hands for traditional circle dancing (Al Ardha or Dabke-style, depending on the variant observed)—a lively and joy-filled moment that brought everyone together in movement and celebration.

After years of loving each other across distances and enduring the challenges of military life, this day marked the beginning of a new chapter—together at last. It was a day of joy, tradition, family, and overwhelming love—and for us at Charis Events, it was a true honor to be part of Alicia and Isaiah’s long-awaited, deeply meaningful wedding celebration.
