Nestled in the Bel-Air hills, the Skirball Cultural Center is one of Los Angeles’ hidden gems — a sanctuary of modern architecture, tranquil gardens, and understated sophistication. It became the perfect setting for Eunice and Johann’s spectacular wedding, a celebration that beautifully blended elegance, culture, and energy.
The ceremony took place beside the reflecting pond, where the serene landscape and gentle afternoon breeze framed a scene of effortless romance. The couple’s refined black-and-white palette with platinum metallic accents set a tone of modern luxury, while mirrored details and candlelight shimmered against the water, reflecting the timeless beauty of their union.
As guests moved beneath the venue’s iconic glass dome, the evening unfolded into a lively celebration filled with music, color, and joy. A live Latin band set the rhythm for an unforgettable night of dancing, complete with salsa lessons and spirited performances that paid homage to Johann’s Colombian roots.
Amid the excitement, a moment of tenderness came during the father–daughter dance, accompanied by a subtle slideshow that traced Eunice’s journey through the years — a touch of sentiment that added depth to the evening’s joy.
Later, the couple honored Eunice’s Korean heritage with a beautifully presented paebaek (폐백) ceremony, symbolizing family unity and respect. This harmonious fusion of Korean and Colombian traditions, set against the sophisticated backdrop of Bel-Air’s hidden gem, made for a truly unforgettable wedding — one that captured the essence of love, culture, and timeless celebration.
